1. In Finland there was 6 events attracting more than 250 people combined. I'm still unaware what happened in Oulu, trying to get information from there as well (some lone hero arranging a meeting there).
I was arranging Turku event with good team of fellow activists, and we managed to get more people intrested than venue could hold: 40 seats before some arranging -> 60 people around when we started showing Addendum, plus some people were left outside or turning back at door. We had about 100+ DVDs and flyers to hand out people left outside. One person was sitting at floor watching the movie. After that we had 2 short presentations and discussion (event duration 5 hours).

Tampere also had more participant than seats. Helsinki was again the biggest attractor with more than 100 heads. Lahti, Joensuu and Lappeenranta also managed to attract dozens of people.
But enough about Finland: I have a suggestion for everyone of something i'm already doing.
I've suggested to Finland event organisers about collecting and reporting some information for (future) reference in finnish movement wiki. I'll be translating that info to international wiki later, but here it is in finnish: http://www.zeitgeist.fi/wiki/Z-p%C3%A4iv%C3%A4_2010 .
Upper chart has following columns (in order) : city, capasity of the venue (persons), attendance, total amount of time, documentaries shown, lecture/presentation, discussion/Q&A (duration etc.), slot for additional information page
Lower chart has advertising/ promotion information (in order): city, flyers, posters, adds in print media, adds in tv/radio, presence in stored media sites (youtube etc.), presence in social media (facebook etc.) , media releases (sent/mentions/ got a contact from media), marked in zday2010.org .
What i suggest is that every chapter makes their own list of meaningful data (feel free to improve the list presented here) and collecting it before it's too late and putting it to wiki (chapters own or international) so we can measure our growth, success etc. later.
Anyway, Zday 2010 is over, let's make a better one in 2011 :)
2. Our Experience in Buenos Aires - Argentina:
We made it on a Park on and important residence neighborhood of the
Capital. We made 4 stands with members talking about:
Hydroponics, What is TZM, communications without Internet, and how to
start consuming in a more responsible way. At 14 in the afternoon we
had about 30 people passing trough the different stands....as it was a
park lot of people gathered over there talking and searching for
members to chat . Bytheway we were like 50 members organizing, helping
ourselves, giving away flyers and inviting people...one of the most
remarkable points of the Zday was that there were lots of member that
we only knew virtually who came from very different places of the city
(BA is very big) and helped out a lot...we got time to socialize and
get to know us a little bit more...which its very important for us to
grow as a movement....i always get this felling among Zs, that we
truly are one besides our environment or educational differences...
We also did 3 lectures. One was to consume responsible, another of how
humanity acts and behaves in a monetary system and how we would act of
behave in a RBE. When the dawn came, we had a lecture comparing the
Monetary System -how it works made "for dummies" so ANYONE could
understand whats wrong with it and why its now irrelevant for us- with
a RBE....this lecture was GREAT! It was the peak of the event with
about 150 persons just listening to our member who did a great job. It
was powerful for all of us...
After that we made a short debate, passes a few short videos and then
addendum....meanwhile some members made another debate about the
topics with a group of people who already watched the movie.
In the end we estimate we had from 500 to 800 persons passing trough
the event in the whole day...maybe a little bit more...its hard to
tell cuz we didn't have a way to measure all the time...anyways...it
was a great day for all of us!!!!
I been last year in the Zday, and we had 250 persons watching the
movie...and we were like 10 members organizing and acting...we have
grown...not exponentially yet, but i think its a matter of time, at
least here in Argentina...
a big abraZo for all of you brothers!
3. In Pelotas, Brazil, the event was also a great success! =D
We chose a small location, hoping that 20 people or so would show up, but we had about 40 attendees, completely filling up the place.
It was a short event, a screening of Addendum followed by a nice Q&A session. Since the place was crowded, there were people standing the whole 3 hours, which really amazed me.
Another nice moment was at the Q&A, when this 60 year old man said that he almost didn't came to the event, because of what he had seen in the first Zeitgeist. But after watching Addendum and seeing us speak of the movement, he told us that his opinion had changed and he was really glad to have come. =)
Our brazilian official chapter went online at ZDay, so it's hard to tell how much of these statistics are a consequence of the events. But we already have over 50 people signed at the website, and almost 400 visits with 1300 pageviews.
A great ZDay indeed.
All the best,

4. Well, I can report the event is Scotland was a resounding success! Our event was divided into two parts for the day - in the afternoon we were spreading the word in the park and in the evening we had two screenings - Addendum at 6pm and the PJ lecture at 9pm.
We put up our marquee at 10 am in Kelvingrove Park near city centre of Glasgow and by 11 am we had about 10 to 25 people from the public talking to us at any one time and that continued till we took the displays and tent down at 4pm. In fact it was so busy, I lost track of time and it was 3 pm before I took a break from talking! We had about 15 zg members there all the time and about 5 of them took flyers and DVDs and walked through the park handing them out. In total we gave out around 500 flyers and 200+ DVDs. There was only one person that was not receptive to our message (he thought we were some kind of religious cult) but his wife was talking to me and just told him that she is entitled to her own opinion. I had to take a taxi 2x that evening and both drivers were very interested in z-day when I told them why I was in Glasgow and took the DVDs and flyers. We gave away balloons to the kids (which had z-day2010 and our website on them), had face painting and other fun stuff but we found that most people just wanted to hear our message and take the DVDs.
During the 6 weeks of preparation, we advertised the screenings on the posters and through the website but by yesterday morning we only had about 15 seats for each screening reserved. However, by the time 6pm rolled around, all the 74 seats were taken by people who had been by the marquee in the afternoon. The 9 pm showing was less subscribed but I think that was because it was such a late sitting and was only going to be finished by 11pm. That meant that some people who took the train would have missed that last train. Anyway - I think it was a great success. The weather was nice despite the very cold wind and the two times our marquee tried to fly away but the pegs held it down in the end. The day flew by without any real problems and a lot of fun.
It was also excellent to meet face to face the many people we had spoken to over TS or on the forum and emails. It also has encouraged us to continue with our stall idea throughout the year. We did the flyering in city centre at the end of last year and found that people don't want to be 'sold' anything but if you have a stall set up with the information available, esp with the street signs to allow people to read what its about for themselves, they then like to come up and find out more. It is a non-aggressive approach and very effective.
We had two people taking videos and another person took professional photos so we await them to be editted and will put them up on our website. We would also like to submit some of this material to anyone who is producing a video for all of z-day so please let us know where to send the footage to be included in any such project!
It was also very inspirational on the day to know that we were not the only ones spreading the message on the day. I felt a connection to the rest of the zg community world wide and look forward to hearing more reports from the other chapters.

5. In Belgium we also did some flyering a few hours prior to the event.. people were very receptive (95% took a flyer), some even asked what it was about (about 30%).
Then we walked all the way to the event (right at the time it would begin), handing out flyers to invite people.
We did need to ask for money (at the doors) because it was a paid location (a pretty pricey one too), about 7euros.
In all I think (I don't have the exact numbers) we had about 80 people at the ZDay event, with only 15-20 people from the movement.
So that was kind of a success, there have also been 8 newly registered members on the website up until now (counting from ZDay), so we're happy :)
We already have ideas to make a better ZDay 2011 ;)

Excellent, Buenos Aires!
6. In Thessaloniki, (Greece) for the second year, we made ZDAY, in hall
Panagiotopoulos, witch is inside the Aristotle campus, the largest campus in
country.
We have started with a presentation of the ZM, history and goals. After
that, we presented the Activist Orientation Guide, and, (after the brake) we
was having the open discussion.
After the first open discussion, we show P.J.'s lecture Where are we going,
and (after a brake also) the second open discussion who close and the
event.
In about 16:30 (local time GMT+2) It was the live link via Skype with video
and sound with the ZEITGEIST UPPSALA (Sweden) with the camera sows audience
and place!
It was very inspiring for the audience, to see live, another ZDAY, in
another Country.
It was about 140 people present at the ZDAY, and at list 15 of them, join us
when they see one day before, 5 minutes in a (serious) morning news show in
TV ! After a complex contact, finally, this tv show present the ZM and our
ZDAY. (we will upload the video this week and I will send the link).

Hello!
7. In Colorado. I would definitely call ZDAY 2010, a success. There were people there from all backgrounds, a nice cross section of Colorado. We had children in the low single digits all the way to great grand parents. Many, many complexions, male, female. All.
Likely, you know Addendum. You know how you felt when you first saw it. Now imagine there were 65 people there with you. And free fruit and cheese in the back.
Tonight, in the same way as the movie, the second half was the icing on the cake. During our Q&A session, there were some expressive, meaningful questions and comments from the crowd. Questions ranging from "How would you deal with love triangles/crimes of passion?" to "What about genetically modified foods?" I must say, I am proud of how our panel was able to respond. We have a tight crew, we spoke and represented the Movement for more than an hour after the movie. As a Chapter, we were able to give everyone in the audience something to go home with. From DVDs to pamphlets to illuminated minds, everyone left with something more than they came.
As a text message I got after the showing said, "Pretty good for a group of people who met at a coffee shop to discuss a movie".
Indeed.
I'm not going to write up a big review of the Colorado Chapter's first public performance (too late?), because it wasn't about us. While this was absolutely top 10 of the most AWESOME things any of us have probably yet done in life, what we did tonight was not (all that) important. Because we will do this again. And again. And, yet again. What will be important is the seed that was planted tonight. The seed, a sure eye opener for some, will give the event importance. Who knows what one of the kids in attendance, will do with the honesty we gave them as plainly as we could tonight. Or any of the people there.. who they will tell, and what seeds they will plant.
This Movement is just starting to grow. First, there were, 14 people in a coffee shop, and then 65 in a conference room. Did I mention there was free fruit, tea and cheese in the back, too? Indeed, as a testament to collaboration in order to accomplish a worthy goal, tonight was a success.
Here's to many more.
